ABOUT
Preserve Our Home serves families seeking resources to maintain their homes. You or perhaps someone you know such as a friend, neighbor, parent or grandparent may be struggling to keep their home in a livable condition. Many forces play a role in putting the squeeze on homeowners. Illness, age, disability, change in marital status, unemployment are among the challenges that can face homeowners. Today, many homeowners live in under resourced financial circumstances. When basic family expenses exceed income month after month, home maintenance is the usual casualty. Homeowners often must choose between paying for medication, food, taxes, and basic utilities. Years of deferred maintenance can cause a downward spiral of home deterioration and unsafe living conditions.
